IMD Rainfall Alert: Amid the heat in the states of North India, the Meteorological Department has given good news for many states. The Meteorological Department has said that Maharashtra, coastal and northern Karnataka are going to receive heavy to very heavy rains for the next five days. Apart from this, rain and thunderstorms will continue in some states of North West India for the next two days. However, heatwave conditions are going to persist for the next five days in East India, Uttar Pradesh, Northeast Madhya Pradesh.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were not seen anywhere. The maximum temperature in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh has been recorded between 42-44 degree Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat was between 40-42 degree Celsius. The highest temperature in Orai district of western Uttar Pradesh was 45.2 degree Celsius. At the same time, heavy rains occurred in Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala, Mahe, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Konkan, Goa.

The Meteorological Department has given an update regarding the monsoon that in the next three to four days it is going to knock in the rest of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Telangana, remaining areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, southern Odisha etc.

Apart from this, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim will receive light to moderate rainfall for the next seven days. At the same time, Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu are going to receive rain for the next five days.

Rain for four to five days in these states

Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh will receive light to moderate rain during the next four to five days. At the same time, from June 12, rain activities will increase in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal. Hailstorms may occur in western Madhya Pradesh between June 7 and 9. Talking about the states of North West India, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh are going to receive light to moderate rain between June 7-9. Apart from this, light rain is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan on June 7 and 8 and in western Uttar Pradesh on June 7.
