IMD Rainfall Alert: There will be heavy rain in three states for 5 days, Meteorological Department warns

Rain Alert: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that for the next five days i.e. from 6 to 11 November, there is going to be heavy rain in three states – Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh.

Rainfall Alert: After the monsoon season is over, now we are waiting for winter. The temperature has started decreasing gradually, but there are still some states where heavy rains are continuing. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains for the next five days in three states – Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Mahe on November 6. Along with this, there is also an alert of thunderstorm. There is also a rain alert on November 6 and 7 in Andaman and Nicobar, November 6-12 in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, November 8-10 in Kerala, Mahe, November 9 and 10 in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema. A hailstorm warning has been issued in Manipur on November 6.

In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature has dropped by one to two degrees Celsius in West Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe. The minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, North Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal is two to four degrees Celsius above average. There will be no major change in temperature in North India for the next week, while the temperature will increase by two to three degrees Celsius in Central and South India. Apart from this, a slight drop in temperature has been recorded in Delhi / NCR in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Delhi is between 14-18 degrees, while the maximum temperature has been recorded between 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Air quality very poor in Delhi

The air in Delhi remained poisonous on Wednesday morning and the air quality remained in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am was recorded at 356 with a slight drop, while four centers, Bawana, Mundka, Wazirpur and NSIT Dwarka, reported air quality in the severe category. For the last two days, Delhi’s AQI has been recorded at the higher end of the very poor category. It was 373 at 9 am on Monday and 384 on Tuesday. According to the classification of AQI, AQI in the range of 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 is satisfactory, 101-200 is moderate, 201-300 is poor, 301-400 is very poor and AQI between 401-500 is considered in the severe category.
