According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall with strong winds is likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 7 days.

IMD has reported that heavy rainfall is likely in West Bengal and Sikkim on the 14th. At the same time, there will be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh on June 18 and Meghalaya during June 15-18.

According to the IMD forecast, light to moderate rainfall with strong winds is likely in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha during the next 5 days. At the same time, heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Odisha on 14, 17 and 18 June.

According to the IMD, light to moderate rain may occur in Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During this time, winds can also blow at a speed of 40 km per hour.

IMD has said that light rain with thunderstorms is likely in Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana.

Heat wave alert

The weather department has issued a warning regarding heat wave along with rain. According to the report, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely in some parts of Uttar Pradesh during 14-18th. Heat wave will prevail in Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand during 14-15th June. This situation will persist in Jharkhand on 16th June.

Heat wave is likely in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during the next 5 days. Severe heat wave is likely at some places on 16th and 17th June.
