IMD Rainfall Alert: Very heavy rain is going to happen in 15 states, know the weather condition in your city

Mausam Aaj: Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan may receive light to moderate rains. Heavy rains are expected in Haryana and Vidarbha till July 10, Madhya Pradesh, eastern Uttar Pradesh till July 13.

10 July ka Mausam: Many states are suffering from the rain which came as a relief but is now turning into a disaster. Also, the weather is likely to continue this week. IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has said that the heavy spell of rain from east to west and north to south is likely to continue for the next 5 days.

Weather for the next 5 days

IMD said on Wednesday that during the next 5 days, light to moderate rain may occur in Uttarakhand, Central India, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan. Heavy rain is expected in Haryana and Vidarbha till Wednesday i.e. July 10, Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh till July 13.

Heavy rain may occur in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh till July 12, East Rajasthan on July 10 and 11, Chhattisgarh on July 11 and 13.

East and Northeast India

The Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha for the next five days. Very heavy rain may occur in Jharkhand on 12 and 13, Odisha on July 13, Bihar till July 13.

West and South Peninsular India

The Meteorological Department has forecast that Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Gujarat region, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema may receive rain during the next 5 days. Very heavy rains are forecast in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Karnataka till July 13.
