IMD Rainfall: Heavy rain will occur in 12 states for 5 days, Meteorological Department issued alert

When Monsoon Arrives in UP: IMD has said that light to moderate rain may occur in Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha during the next five days.

Monsoon News: The slow moving monsoon now seems to be gaining momentum. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that it is expected to advance to more than 10 states in the next 3-4 days. However, many states including Madhya Pradesh are also facing severe humidity at this time. It is a matter of relief that from June 27, the effect of heat will start reducing from many parts of the country.

Where will it rain today

According to the forecast released by the Meteorological Department on Tuesday night, light to moderate rain may occur in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh during the next five days. During this, strong winds can also blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in West Madhya Pradesh on 27 and 28 June. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh till June 29. Apart from this, all the states of the Northeast will get drenched.

When will it rain in UP

IMD has said that light to moderate rain may occur in Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha during the next five days. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Bihar till June 29. Heavy rain may also occur in Jharkhand on June 28 and 29. Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh may receive light to moderate rain till June 29. Rain is expected in West Uttar Pradesh from June 27 to June 29, Haryana on June 28 and 29 and Punjab till June 29.

What is the condition of monsoon

The southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of north Arabian Sea, Gujarat state, Madhya Pradesh and southeast Rajasthan. Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of north Arabian Sea, Gujarat state, Madhya Pradesh, some more parts of Rajasthan, remaining parts of Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, northern parts of Punjab and northern parts of Haryana during next 3-4 days.
