IMD Rainfall: There will be heavy rain with strong wind in this state today amid summer, IMD’s yellow alert

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that due to the anti cyclone depression formed in the Bay of Bengal, the state will see heavy rain today. We have also issued a yellow alert regarding lightning. Along with this, there is a possibility of strong wind also.

Rainfall Update: Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, witnessed light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms in the last 24 hours. Highest rainfall of 5.4 mm was recorded in Simdega, highest temperature of 40.2 mm was recorded in Godda and lowest minimum temperature of 19.8 mm was recorded in Garhwa. Talking about today’s weather, there is a forecast of heavy rain in the entire state.

Wind will blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour

According to the weather center, there are some districts where wind will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Like Khunti, Ranchi, Gumla, Simdega, Seraikela Kharsawan and West Singhbhum. People in these districts need to be especially cautious about strong winds and storms. Along with this, there is a possibility of seeing more thunderstorms here. At this time, if you are outside the house, try to take shelter in a safe place.

Minimum recorded at 22 degrees

Talking about the possible maximum temperature, Deoghar, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj have a maximum of 36 degrees and a minimum of 22 degrees. Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar and Lohardaga have a maximum of 37 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees. Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti and Gumla maximum 36 degrees and minimum 24 degrees. East and West Singhbhum, Seraikela can record maximum of 37 degrees and minimum of 22 degrees.
