Scientists of the Meteorological Department say that rescue information and alerts for the next 24 hours have been shared with the local responsible departments for the areas where rain and snowfall have been predicted.

Amidst the increasing heat in the plains of North India, the Meteorological Department issued an orange alert on Friday afternoon. Actually, this orange alert has been issued due to the changed weather in the mountains. According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be heavy rain in the North Western Himalayan regions on Friday. According to the department’s estimate, there will be heavy rain in some areas of Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh in the next few hours. Apart from this, heavy snowfall has also been predicted in the upper parts of these states. Safety related guidelines have also been issued by the Meteorological Department to the concerned states. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding the possibility of heavy hailstorm for Saturday in states like Uttarakhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance which has become active in the western region has become increasingly active in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh region. Due to its activity, heavy rains are being predicted in different parts of these three states within the next few hours. According to scientists of the Meteorological Department, some parts of Himachal Pradesh may receive rainfall ranging from 65 mm to 115 mm. Apart from this, heavy snowfall is also being predicted in some upper parts of Himachal.

Scientists of the Meteorological Department say that rescue information and alerts for the next 24 hours have been shared with the local responsible departments for the areas where rain and snowfall have been predicted. The Meteorological Department estimates that different parts of Himachal Pradesh may have to face such changed weather within the next few hours on Friday. Due to changed weather conditions, an alert has been issued in this entire area.

This alert of the Meteorological Department has been issued not only for Himachal Pradesh but also for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand. According to scientists of the Meteorological Department, there may be rainfall of more than 100 mm in some different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Friday. This rain will occur in the area of Jammu and Kashmir. Whereas there are chances of rain in some lower parts of Ladakh also. Apart from this, conditions of fresh snowfall persist in the upper parts of Ladakh. According to scientists, these conditions have arisen due to western disturbance. According to the information received by the Meteorological Department, such conditions may persist in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the next 72 hours.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand. According to the scientists of Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain and storm as well as hailstorm in Uttarakhand on Saturday. Due to the changed weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued safety guidelines to the officials of Uttarakhand state in this regard. Because the effect of western disturbance is going to last for the next four days. Therefore, there is a constant vigil on the weather in the northwestern Himalayan region.

Despite the changed conditions in the mountains, the temperature in the plains is continuously increasing. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the plains will increase rapidly within the next five days. According to the department’s data, more than 40 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Sagar and Damoh of Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. While the temperature in Sagar is around 42 degrees, in Damoh the temperature has reached close to 43 degrees. In Ankola, Maharashtra too, a temperature of around 43 degrees was recorded within the last 24 hours.
