IMD Update: Heat wave in some places and heavy rain in some states, know the condition of your state

When will monsoon enter the country?

The Meteorological Department said in its update that heat wave conditions along with scorching heat will persist for a few days in many states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, IMD says that south-west monsoon may arrive in the country from Kerala during the next three to four days.

There will be no respite from the scorching heat in these states

According to the alert issued by IMD, there is a possibility of severe heat wave in Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, many parts of Rajasthan, some parts of Uttar Pradesh and different places of Madhya Pradesh from May 28 to June 1. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of severe heat conditions in isolated places of Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.

There will be heavy rain in these states

The Meteorological Department said in its update that there has been heavy rain in Meghalaya in the last 24 hours. At the same time, IMD has issued red alert for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in both these states from May 28 to June 1. IMD said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on May 29.

At the same time, cyclonic storm Ramal has caused huge devastation in many North Eastern states along with West Bengal. In Assam, two people died and 17 others were injured due to strong winds and heavy rains due to the storm.
