According to the Meteorological Department, on April 25, a heatwave alert has been issued in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. There are chances of rain in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra.

Delhi’s climate
The sky will be clear in Delhi on April 25 and strong winds may blow during this period. The Meteorological Department says that there are chances of light rain in Delhi on April 26. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius this entire week. The minimum temperature is likely to be between 21 to 24 degrees Celsius. Today the maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to be 40 degrees Celsius.
Weather condition of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls may occur over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Whereas light to moderate rain is possible in Northeast India, Western Himalayas, some parts of Kerala, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Apart from this, light rain is possible at some places in North Punjab and North Haryana.
Heat wave wreaks havoc in these states
The maximum temperature is expected to increase in most parts of the country. Heat wave conditions are possible in parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Odisha, Interior Karnataka, Jharkhand, Bihar, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Seasonal activities of the country
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the Western Disturbance, in the form of a low pressure line in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds, whose axis is 5.8 km above the mean level, is now located north of 30 degrees north latitude along with 72 degrees east longitude. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is forming at lower level over North-Eastern Rajasthan.
Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation is forming over East Assam and surrounding areas. A cyclonic circulation is over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining areas. A low pressure line is moving from the circulation over Himalayan West Bengal to North Bay of Bengal.
At lower levels, a trough/dissection is extending from Central Maharashtra through Kerala to Karnataka. A cyclonic circulation has formed over South Interior Karnataka. Another cyclonic circulation is over the Comorin area. Apart from this, a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from April 26.
