IMD Update: Meteorological Department issues alert of severe rain and storm in 15 states, see the condition of your state

Delhi will also get relief from humidity, and there will be rain in Maharashtra and West Bengal as well. This time, from June 1 to September 23, 880.8 mm of rain has occurred, which is more than the normal 837.7 mm. The monsoon is likely to return by October 6. How will the weather be in Delhi?

There is a possibility of rain in Delhi today and tomorrow. For the last three days, people in the capital have been facing humid heat, with the temperature crossing 35 degrees. However, the city is expected to get relief from rain today. The sky will remain cloudy and light rain may occur in some areas. Today’s maximum temperature is expected to be around 36 degrees and the minimum around 26 degrees. Also, winds can blow at a speed of 20 to 25 kilometers per hour. Light dew was seen in the morning, which brought a feeling of coolness, but as the day progressed, the sun came out.

Weather update of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, a change in the weather is being seen in Uttarakhand. There was good rain in the hilly areas on Tuesday, and even today there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in the hilly areas of Kumaon. A yellow alert has been issued for this area. At the same time, the weather has been dry in Himachal Pradesh for the last three days, but today a heavy rain alert has been issued in Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur. There may be rain with thunderstorms and lightning in six districts for the next two days. This time only 573.70 mm of rain has been recorded in Himachal as against the normal 723.10 mm.

Rain alert in many states of the country

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh between 25 and 27 September. Kerala may receive rain from 25 to 29 and 30 September. Gujarat may receive heavy rains from 25 to 28 September. Rain is expected in 11 districts of West Bengal for the next 2-3 days, while heavy rains are also expected in 20 districts of Odisha. Bihar may also receive good rains in the next 3 days, while 12 districts of the state are still in the grip of floods.

Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat today and tomorrow. Heavy rain alert has also been issued in West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Saurashtra-Kutch region. At the same time, light rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha (Maharashtra), Chhattisgarh, West Bengal (parts adjoining the Ganges), Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and South Karnataka.
