Weather Update: The department has informed that the weather will remain dry in the plains and mid-mountainous regions of Himachal Pradesh on Friday. At the same time, there may be light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high mountainous regions.

Aaj Ka Mausam: Amidst the onset of cold in North and West India, some states of South India continue to get wet. States including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka are likely to receive rain in the coming days. At the same time, the cold is expected to increase, as there are chances that by the beginning of December, there may be snowfall in many places including Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Dense fog may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Bihar late night or early morning till 30 November. On the other hand, similar weather is expected to continue in Uttar Pradesh till 2 December.

IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has said on Thursday that the weather may remain dry in Uttar Pradesh till December 1. The department says that there is a possibility of dense fog in different places of the state late at night or early in the morning. It has also been said that there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the state during the next 5 days.

The department has informed that the weather will remain dry in the plains and mid-mountainous areas of Himachal Pradesh on Friday. At the same time, light rain or snowfall may occur at one or two places in the high mountainous areas. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in the middle and high mountainous areas of Himachal Pradesh on November 30. Whereas, the weather is expected to remain dry in the plains till December 4.

How will the weather be in Delhi

The air quality of the capital Delhi, which is already suffering from air pollution, remained in the very poor category for the fifth consecutive day on Thursday, while the city recorded the coldest night of this season. The Meteorological Department has expected the maximum temperature on Friday to be around 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature to be around 10 degrees Celsius.

There is a possibility of fog in about 9 districts of Bihar on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of fog at one or two places in Saran, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia and Bhagalpur districts. At the same time, light to moderate fog may occur in the remaining places of the state. The special thing is that there is no possibility of any significant change in the night temperature in the state during the next 2-3 days.

Rain in South Indian states

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, Rayalaseema, Coastal and North Interior Karnataka between December 29 and December 2.
