IMD Weather latest Update: The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many states of the country in the next four days. There may be light to moderate rain in Delhi-NCR.
IMD Weather Update: Continuous changes are being seen in the weather. At the same time, as soon as Holi ends, the temperature in the country’s capital Delhi has crossed 33 degrees. The Meteorological Department has said that the temperature may increase by two to three degrees in the coming 3-4 days. Except for March, there is a possibility of severe heat after the first week of April, while there is also a possibility of heat wave in some states. The same Meteorological Department has said in the latest weather bulletin that there is a possibility of rain in the Western Himalayan region and the surrounding plains of North West India till March 29. There may be rain in Delhi also in the coming days.
Chance of rain in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, the latest change in the weather will be seen due to a fresh western disturbance. There is a possibility of this disturbance coming into the Himalayan region, due to which there will be widespread and light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till March 29. Meanwhile, sporadic hailstorm may also occur in Himachal Pradesh on March 28 and 29.
It will rain in Delhi
The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast that the national capital Delhi will be generally cloudy on Wednesday and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be 34 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius and the sky will be cloudy. There may also be drizzle in some areas in the next two days. Widespread light rainfall is likely over states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at different places in Punjab, Haryana, Eastern Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh till March 29. Rain and storm activity may be seen over the western Himalayan region and adjoining plains of northwest India during March 27 to 31. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain at some places and storm at some places on 29th and 30th March. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya on March 30.
