IMD Weather Today: Heavy rain in 5 states today, weather will change in 10 states, know the weather forecast in the states.

Delhi: Light rain forecast

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain from Sunday. A drop of 5 degrees has been recorded in the minimum temperature. On October 12, the minimum temperature will reach 16 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature has been forecast to be 35 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain cloudy in the capital Delhi from Sunday. Light rain activity can be seen while rain activity will increase from October 16.

Due to active Western Disturbance, Ghaziabad may also see light rain along with thunderstorms. In Noida too, there will be a feeling of pink cold due to rain activity on Sunday and Monday. However, mild cold is being felt in Delhi since this morning. Conditions favorable for departure of monsoon

The conditions are favorable for the withdrawal of monsoon from some areas of Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, some parts of the Central Arabian Sea, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and some Orissa and the monsoon will depart from these areas in one to two days.

According to the Meteorological Department, moderate rain has been predicted for Jammu and Kashmir in Balistan and Muzaffarabad between October 18. With the formation of low pressure and activity of western disturbance, rain alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab on October 18 while Uttarakhand. , Rain forecast has also been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan between October 20. Light snowfall can be seen in the hilly states.

Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe.

Andaman Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka including Kerala and Mahe may witness moderate rain along with lightning.

Thunderstorm forecast in these areas

A warning of thunderstorm with light to moderate rain has also been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, West Bengal, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Karnataka.
