IMD Weather Update: According to weather agency Skymet, there is a possibility of rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya and Assam as well as Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal in the next 24 hours.
Weather Update Today: After snowfall in the mountains, cold has started increasing in North India. People are going out of the house only wearing warm clothes. A continuous decline in temperature is being recorded in the capital Delhi. With strong winds blowing in UP, Punjab and Haryana, people have started feeling shivering. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand today i.e. Friday (8 December).
According to the Meteorological Department, on Friday (December 8), the maximum temperature is likely to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 11 degrees. Apart from this, light fog is expected to prevail in the capital till December 13 in the morning. Talking about the AQI of Delhi-NCR, the air quality here is continuously in the poor category.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air was recorded in very poor category in 24 areas in Delhi on Thursday. AQI was recorded at 288 in Greater Noida, 284 in Ghaziabad, 279 in Noida, 285 in Faridabad and 235 in Gurugram. AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, AQI between 51 and 100 is ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 are ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 are ‘poor’, 301 and 400 are ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 are considered in the ‘severe’ category.
It will rain in these 19 states
According to Skymet Weather, rain activities will be seen in Northeast India in the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is possible over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya and Assam in the next 48 hours. There may be light rain in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is possible in Jharkhand, Bihar, south-eastern Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Lakshadweep. Talking about other states, light rain is possible in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
