IMD Weather Update: Rain and storm warning till April 23, know IMD’s new update

Due to changing weather conditions, many districts including Indore and Jabalpur are expected to remain cloudy on Saturday with light rain and thunderstorm in the evening. At present, the rainy season is expected to continue till April 23, again from April 24. Changes will be seen.

MP Weather Update Today: After next 24 hours, the weather of Madhya Pradesh is going to change once again. Due to the impact of the new western disturbance, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain, storm and strong wind in 19 districts between April 21 and 23. Today, on Saturday, April 20, there is a possibility of strong wind and drizzle along with cloudy sky at isolated places in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur and Indore divisions. During this period, fluctuations in temperature will also be seen.

Rain and storm in these districts between 21st and 23rd April

According to MP Meteorological Department, between April 21 and 23, due to Western Disturbance and moisture coming from the Arabian Sea, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur and Indore divisions will remain cloudy with rain and thunderstorms.

On April 21, there is a possibility of rain in Indore, Dewas, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla, Katni, Umaria, Dindori, Shahdol and Anuppur districts.

It may occur in Narmadapuram, Betul, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori and Anuppur on 22 April and at isolated places in Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat districts on 23 April.

Multiple weather systems active simultaneously

Presently a Western Disturbance is forming as a cyclone in the upper part of the air around Afghanistan. A Dronika is also associated with it. Due to its impact, it has become an induced cyclone over Northern Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. There is also a cyclone in the upper part of the air over Central Maharashtra and an anti-cyclone in the Arabian Sea. A trough has formed from this cyclone to Tamil Nadu.

Due to the effect of these weather systems formed at different places, moisture is continuously coming from the Arabian Sea, due to which there will be cloud cover and rain with thunder. Not only this, there is also a possibility of heat and heat wave from April 24. . During this period, fluctuations in temperature will also be seen.
