IMD Weather Update: On Monday, the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.0 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 88 to 59 percent. As far as rainfall is concerned, 2.7 mm rainfall was recorded till 5:30 pm. Due to bright sunshine in the afternoon, the humidity increased considerably by evening.
IMD Weather Update: Amidst seasonal fluctuations, sometimes the weather in the capital becomes pleasant and sometimes the situation becomes miserable due to humidity. The same was seen on Monday as well. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather and light to moderate rain in the capital for the next six days.
In the morning, there was light rain at some places and moderate rain at other places. This made the weather pleasant, but by afternoon, people had to face the heat again due to increasing humidity. The surprising thing is that the Meteorological Department had issued a green alert by forecasting light rain, while in many areas moderate rain was recorded under yellow alert.

Light to moderate rainfall continues
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to remain between 34 to 36 degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 25 to 27 degrees for the next six days. During this time, there will be movement of clouds and light to moderate rainfall may continue.
At the same time, due to the kindness of the weather, Delhi’s AQI is clear. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s AQI was 109 on Monday. Air of this level is kept in the ‘moderate’ category.
