According to the IMD forecast, conditions have become favorable for the advance of southwest monsoon over Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and some more parts of the northwestern Bay of Bengal, as well as Bihar and Jharkhand in the Gangetic plains during the next 3-4 days. Now soon there will be rain in the adjoining areas and people will get relief from the heat.

The IMD has said that due to the latest weather pattern, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph and light to moderate rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and West Bengal during the next 5 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely at isolated places over West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh between June 19-21. Heavy rain is also likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during June 19 to 23.

IMD has also given news of relief for Bihar and Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 5 days, winds of 40 km per hour will blow in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha along the Ganges. There is also a possibility of rain during this time. IMD has said that heavy rainfall is also likely at different places in Odisha and Bihar during the next 5 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds will blow at a speed of 40-60 km per hour in western Madhya Pradesh during the next 5 days. There is also a possibility of rain at many places during this time. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh. IMD has said that light rain is likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand during June 19 to 23. At the same time, rain with strong winds is likely in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during the next two days.
