IMD Weather Update: Yellow alert issued regarding rain in Delhi-NCR, clouds will rain heavily again

Rainfall had stopped in Delhi-NCR for the last 2-3 days but the Meteorological Department has once again predicted heavy rains in the region in the next few hours.

Noida: There is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR once again. Let us tell you that due to the continuous rain in Delhi and surrounding areas for the last few days, people have got relief from the scorching heat. Due to the rain, a drop in mercury was also recorded. After this, the rain has stopped for 2 to 3 days and life is going on normally. However, in the meantime, the Meteorological Department has once again issued a yellow alert regarding rain.

Temperature may drop on Wednesday

According to the Meteorological Department’s alert, there may be a sudden change in the weather on Wednesday and there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi and surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the maximum and minimum temperatures will also drop on Wednesday. Let us tell you that even though people are getting relief from the scorching heat due to rain in Delhi and surrounding areas, but their problems increase due to waterlogging and other reasons. After the rain, the condition of the roads from Gurugram to Faridabad, and from Delhi to Noida becomes bad. After heavy rains, people have to face traffic problems for hours in Delhi-NCR.

Yellow alert also issued in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is facing a bad situation due to heavy rains. According to the State Emergency Operations Center i.e. SEOC, a total of 53 roads were closed due to heavy rains and production in 5 power supply projects came to a halt. The State Emergency Operations Center i.e. SEOC gave this information on Monday. The local meteorological center on Wednesday issued a ‘yellow’ alert, predicting thunderstorms and lightning in different areas of 6 districts of the state. At the same time, light snowfall occurred in the high altitude areas of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti, which is a sign of the arrival of winter. (IANS)
