India Weather Live Updates: The Meteorological Department had said on Tuesday that along with the further weakening of the ‘Toute’ cyclone, there will be moderate rainfall in various parts of North India including Delhi-NCR during the next two days.

The impact of cyclonic storm ‘Toute’ is now clearly visible on the weather of North India. In such a situation, it is raining in many areas of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP today. Actually, Hurricane ‘Toute’ has shifted from Gujarat towards Rajasthan, due to which the area of pressure has become in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, today and tomorrow i.e. on May 19 and 20, its effect will be seen on the weather of North India.
Rainfall in Delhi-NCR, UP, Haryana, Rajasthan
Light rain has occurred in many parts of NCR including the capital Delhi. The nightly rain continues in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. It is also cloudy in many parts of Haryana and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department had said in the update released at 6.30 am that several districts of these states will receive rain within the next two days.

Rain in Delhi and surrounding areas
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains will occur over entire Delhi, NCR (Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ballabgarh, Noida), Panipat, Gannaur, Sonipat, Gohana and surrounding areas today. During this time there will also be strong winds whose speed can be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The rain will continue for the next two days
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places in Himachal, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West UP, Uttarakhand and heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in Punjab, Eastern UP and North Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department had reported on Tuesday that along with the further weakening of the ‘Toute’ cyclone, moderate rainfall is expected to occur in different parts of North India including Delhi-NCR during the next two days.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in 7 districts when Cyclone ‘Toute’ from the Arabian Sea entered Rajasthan by late night. The department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Jalore, Sirohi, Udaipur, Pali, Dungarpur, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand districts on Wednesday. Regional Director of Jaipur Meteorological Center Radheshyam Sharma had told that the cyclone will enter Rajasthan late on Tuesday night.
