Important news! Camp will be held tomorrow to make new Smart Ration Card, these people will get facility

Ration card is a government document through which wheat, rice etc. can be purchased from the fair price shops at a lower price than the market price under the government distribution system. Please tell that the method of making ration card is also different in every state. The government also organizes camps to give benefits of ration cards. A camp will be organized in Madurai city of Tamil Nadu on 1 Ration card3 February 2021 i.e. tomorrow to give new smart ration cards. This special camp will be organized by the district administration in the taluk office to make ration card for third gender (transgender).




Camp will be held at 10 am

This camp will be set up in the taluk supply offices between 10 am and 1 am on February 13 to give new ration cards. In a press release by the government, Collector GS Sameeran said that those who have not yet received the smart ration card and have reached 18 years of age, should come to the camp for ration card.

These documents will be required to make a

ration card, the applicant will have to go to the camp with Aadhar card, Voter ID, Address proof, LPG cylinder receipt or tenancy agreement. District administration says that those who are living alone alone can also apply for ration card.

Remove the name from the

parents’ ration card. If the name of the applicant is in the ration card of their parents or guardians, If the applicant wants to remove and get a separate ration card, then he has to give it in writing. After which the taluk supply officer will remove the name from the ration card of his parents or guardian to give a new ration card in the name of the applicant.

Explain that Tamil Nadu has become the 11th state to implement the ‘One Country One Ration Card’ reform. The central government has allowed states to complete these reforms to raise additional debt of Rs 30,709 crore.




There are three types of ration cards

There are three types of ration cards. It is divided into BPL, APL and AAY sections.

BPL- means BPL Below Poverty Line, ie these cards are given to poor families fall below the poverty line. These card holders are provided with ration ranging from 25 to 35 kg.

APL- The APL ie Abov Poverty Line Ration Card is given to those who are above the poverty line. People with this card are given grains up to 15 kg.

AAY- The third card is AAY i.e. Antyodaya Card, this card is given to those people who are very poor, they are also below the poverty line. The state government provides food grains up to 35 kg a month to such families.
