Tweeting on behalf of the bank, it was written, ‘We advise our customers to link PAN card with Aadhaar to avoid any inconvenience’ if the customers do not do this necessary work within the stipulated time frame. PAN card will be considered invalid. Let us tell you, linking PAN card with Aadhar card has become mandatory.

How to do PAN Card Aadhaar Card Link

1. If you have linked your PAN card with Aadhaar, then you can check your status by clicking on this link. For this you have to go to your https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home .
2. Click on the option ‘Link Aadhaar’ on the left side. Click on ‘Click here’ to view your status.
3. Click on the hyper link ‘Click here’ to view your status. Here you have to fill your Aadhar and PAN card details.
4. If your PAN card is linked to Aadhar card then you will see the confirmation “your PAN is linked to Aadhaar Number”.
5. If you have not linked Aadhar card and PAN card yet, then you have to click on this link https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. After that click on “Link Aadhaar”.
6. After that you have to fill your details. And your PAN card will be linked with Aadhar card.

PAN Card Aadhaar Card Link by SMS

To use the SMS service, Aadhaar can be linked with PAN card by sending a message to 567678 or 56161.
