According to the information given on the bank’s website, many types of offers are being offered to customers of PNB MySalary Account.
Insurance of 20 lakhs, overdraft of 3 lakhs
Customers are being given an overdraft facility of up to Rs 3 lakh on their salary account. Along with this, Accidental cover up to Rs 20 lakh will also be available. Apart from this, if you take a loan, you can get up to 100 percent discount in documentation and processing fees. The bank has divided into 4 categories Silver, Gold, Premium and Platinum on the basis of salary for the account opening personnel. Overdraft and insurance cover are different for each category.
Who can open salary account
Under this facility of PNB, regular workers working in central or state government, PSU, semi-government or corporation, large institute, corporate or educational institution can open accounts. Salary account can also be started from zero balance. It is also not necessary to maintain minimum balance. For special features, it is necessary to have salary credit for three consecutive months.

Under this account, the bank will provide an insurance cover of Rs 18 lakh, while using a debit card will provide an insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh. In this way, account holders of all categories will get a personal accident cover of maximum Rs 20 lakh. The condition is that there should be two consecutive months salary credit in a calendar quarter.
Rupay Debit Card and Demat Account
Rupees Classic / Platinum card will be available in Silver category, on which charge will be payable. On the other hand, the account holders of the other three categories will not have to pay any charge on the Rupay Platinum Card. Talk about credit card, then no issue charge will have to be paid for it. However, account maintenance charges have to be taken care of.
Silver and Gold category account holders will not get 50% discount on the first year AMC i.e. Account Maintenance Charge for Demat Account and no fee for the remaining two categories. Apart from this, 40 for Silver, 50 for Gold, 100 for Premium and for Platinum will get unlimited free check facility annually.
Discount on home, car or personal loan
For Silver and Gold category, there will be 50% discount on processing charge on home, car or personal loan, while 100% discount will be given in premium and platinum. The condition is that there should be a regular salary credit for at least three consecutive months.
Apart from these facilities, for small lockers in silver grade, there will be 25 percent discount in rent, 50 percent in gold and 75 percent in premium. At the same time, Platinum category account holders will get 100 percent discount on rent for small or medium sized lockers.
