The figure of corona infects in the country is becoming a tsunami. In the last 24 hours, more than three lakh new infected have been found for the third consecutive day.
3 lakh 44 thousand 949 patients came positive on Friday, while a record 2,620 people lost their lives. For the first time, 2 lakh 20 thousand 382 people have also recovered from the epidemic.
Earlier on Thursday, 3 lakh 32 thousand 320 people were found positive, while 2,256 patients died. At the same time, 3.15 lakh people were infected on Wednesday, while 2,101 people died.
Good news:
It is a matter of relief that 2.20 lakh people are cured in a day, that the pace of recovery of corona patients in the country is also increasing continuously. On Friday, 2,20,382 people recovered. Before this, a record 1 lakh 98 thousand 180 people got cured in one day on Thursday. On Wednesday, 1.92 lakh people were recovered.
Active patients now exceed 25 lakhs, the
number of active cases in the country i.e. patients who are being treated, has crossed 25 lakhs today. At present 25,43,914 people are undergoing treatment.

- The production capacity of Remadecivir injection is being increased to 90 lakh viols per month. Earlier it was 40 lakh viol. Soon 3 lakh violations will be produced everyday. Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia informed about this.
- Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived in Ahmedabad, said that the 950-bed Dhanvantari Kovid Hospital will start from Saturday. It has 250 ICU beds. A hospital with 1,200 beds and 600 ICU beds is yet to be built with the help of Tata Trusts.
- The Ministry of Defense has extended the tenure of doctors with short service commission till December 31, 2021. Given the shortage of doctors due to Corona, these doctors have been given extension in service. With this, 238 doctors will be available in army hospitals.
- The Union Health Minister’s statement has come when hospitals are running out of space for treatment of corona patients. He said, ‘I request the countrymen that everyone should keep patience. Only those who need it go to the hospital. 98–99% of patients may not even need to go to the hospital. They can recover at home and most patients are also recovering at home. Go to the hospital only when necessary.
- The Delhi government had sought paramedical staff and doctors from the Center to revive the Sardar Patel Kovid Center at Chhatarpur. The Center has decided to provide sufficient number of doctors and paramedical staff for a hospital with 500 oxygen beds. ITBP DG SS Deshwal said that we are preparing for this.
