PSEB class 1 to 12 pre board exam 2021: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is going to take pre-board examination of students of all classes from first class to 12th this time and its date has also been announced. The Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT Punjab) has announced this.

According to this announcement, this pre-board exam (Punjab Pre ​​Board Exam 2021) in all the government schools of the state (Punjab Board) will start from 8 February 2021. Explain that earlier students of 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th had to take pre-board examination. But this time, from class 1 to class 12, this exam is being taken for all students. Punjab Education Council has given two reasons behind this decision.




As per the order issued by the Director of Punjab SCERT in this regard, students from class 1 to 8 will get the option of both offline and online and they can go to the school for pre-board examination at their convenience in offline mode or online mode at home. But can give But for students from 9th to 12th, only offline examination will be taken. They have to take the exam by going to the exam center of the school.

Apart from this, the council has said that questions will be asked from the entire syllabus for class 1 to 5, while question papers will be prepared from the syllabus reduced from class 6 to 12.

SCERT has given two reasons for this….

First, schools have been closed for the past year due to Corona virus epidemic and there has been loss of education. In such a situation, students do not have to face the annual examination directly and their preparation will be better through pre-board.

Secondly, if there is problem in annual examinations due to Kovid, then final result of students can be prepared on pre-board basis. The Punjab Board will also give the marks of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) on pre-board basis.

Question papers for online pre-board examination will also be prepared online. The link of these papers will be sent by the Punjab Board Headquarters to all the District Education Officers (DEO) of the state one day before the examination. Then the DEO will send that link to all the school heads / principals on the exam day.
