Former England spinner Monty Panesar has named three Indian cricketers who can play an important role for India in the Test series against England starting on 5 February. The surprising thing is that these three names do not include the name of captain Virat Kohli and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Panesar took the names of R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara during this period. When Panesar was asked which of the three Indian players could prove important in this Test series, he did not give Virat and Bumrah a place in this list.
He said, ‘Talking about India, Ajinkya Rahane, his batting and leadership quality have impressed me a lot. Cheteshwar Pujara at number two, he knows how to handle pressure and the third name is of R Ashwin. He can take both wickets over the wicket and round the wicket. There is a lot of variation in their bowling, I remember they said that spin bowling is like an app, you need to update it every six months.

The third test match of the series will be a day-night test. England have recently beaten Sri Lanka 2–0 in the Test series on their own soil and India will be playing in this series after beating Australia 2–1 in Australia. Both teams will have high morale.
