It is worth noting that the match will end late in the night and a huge crowd of spectators will reach the stations near the stadium to go home after the match is over. In view of this, DMRC has taken this decision. In view of the crowd, DMRC has made adequate arrangements at the stations near the stadium. At the same time, while changing the timetable of the metro service, the time of the last train has been fixed at 12 o’clock in the night and at some stations till one o’clock in the night.
At the same time, according to the traffic police, there will be traffic diversion for half an hour before the match and half an hour after the match. Also, heavy vehicles and buses will not be allowed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. Along with this, traffic will remain on Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, Daryaganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road. Delhi Traffic Police has requested people to avoid using these roads from 11:30 am to 11 pm due to the match. Because spectators will come to the stadium for the match and there is a possibility of overcrowding here. In which the maximum R/A traffic can be from Kamala Market to Rajghat, from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate and on Asaf Ali Road.
