India Post Recruitment 2021: India Post has sought applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to Group D posts under Sports Quota in Uttarakhand circle. All interested candidates can apply for Uttarakhand Circle Recruitment in the prescribed format by 22 December 2021. The application process for recruitment to these posts has been started from October 29.
According to the official notification, a total of 13 posts of Postman, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff will be recruited in Uttarakhand circle. This includes 3 posts of Postal Assistant, 3 posts of Sorting Assistant, 5 posts of Postman and 2 posts of Multi Tasking Staff. This recruitment is being done under sports quota so candidates participating in state level or national level or international level competition can apply for recruitment in India Post.
For recruitment to the posts of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant and Postman, candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Whereas, 10th pass can also apply for the post of Multi Tasking Staff. For detailed information candidates can check official notification.
Talking about the age limit, the candidate’s age should be between 18 years to 27 years for recruitment to the posts of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Postman. Whereas, the minimum age of the candidate for recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking Staff has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age is 25 years. However, as per government rules, there will be an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.
