The temple of Vaishno Devi, one of the most sacred Hindu temples, is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. Affectionately also known as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, the temple is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess. The temple is situated at an altitude of about 5200 feet. It is 12 km from Katra.

Itinerary – New Delhi-Jammu-Katra-Banganga-Katra-Jammu-New Delhi
Day 1 – New Delhi
The JAT Special will start at 20:40 from New Delhi Railway Station. It will get AC 3 tier facility.
Day 2 – Jammu – Katra
Will reach Jammu railway station at 05:00. There will be pickup in non-AC train from Jammu railway station to Katra. To collect the travel slip, stop at Saraswati Dham on the way. Will check-in at hotel. Breakfast and drop till Banganga. Darshan in the temple. Returned to hotel late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Katra – Jammu
After breakfast, you can go for a walk. Check-out at 12 noon followed by lunch. Departure for Jammu Railway Station by non-AC vehicle at 02:00 hrs after lunch. Darshan en route to Kand Kandoli Mandir, Raghunathji Mandir and Bage Bahu Garden, later to reach Jammu Railway Station by 1900 hrs for boarding at NDLS – JAT SPL-02426 at 2125 hrs.
Day 4 – Arrival New Delhi
Arrival at New Delhi Railway Station at 05:55.
