New Delhi: Russia’s Corona vaccine Sputnik V will arrive in India by the end of May. Its local distributor Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories gave this information on Thursday. The delay in getting the vaccine may slow down the vaccination campaign in the country.
A spokesman for Dr. Reddy’s said, “We are trying to get the first consignment of the Russian vaccine as soon as possible. It is expected to reach India by the end of May.” The spokesperson said, “Sputnik is going to be made in India in a few months. We hope that the vaccine manufactured in India will start becoming available from the second quarter of this financial year.”
