Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in India. However, there is also news of a relief in the midst of the Corona havoc that the Corona will be at its peak this month, but may see a big fall in June. A team of experts advising Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suggested that the corona virus will be at its peak in India in the coming days. But last month’s estimate of the same team was proved wrong and Corona’s havoc increased. However, the team’s recent estimate is close to the suggestion of scientists who believe that Corona will be at its peak in India by mid-May.
According to a Bloomberg report, experts say Corona figures are being undervalued as long lines are being laid for cremation at cremation sites across the country and patients are crowded in hospitals. It is for this reason that it is difficult to estimate the exact peak of the corona. However, even then, these estimates are considered quite important, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be avoiding a nationwide lockdown and instead the state governments are imposing restrictions to break the Corona chain.
The report states that Professor Mathukumalli Vidyasagar at the Indian Institute of Technology in Hyderabad estimates that Corona will be at its peak in the coming few days. Referring to the model prepared by IIT Kanpur professor Manindra Agarwal, he said that according to the current estimate, by the end of June, one can see 20,000 cases every day. However, we will modify it according to the need.
If this assumption proves true, it will be a matter of relief for India facing the second wave of Corona, as more than four lakh Corona cases are coming up every day in the country right now. According to the statistics of the Union Health Ministry, more than four lakh cases of corona have been reported daily in the country for the past three days and the daily death toll has also crossed the four thousand mark.
However, Vidyasagar’s team’s estimate was proved incorrect in April as his team had predicted that Corona’s peak would arrive by mid-April. The reason behind this was given by the fact that the corona virus is constantly changing its form, which is the reason why the inference could not be corrected due to wrong parameters. Recently two more estimates were made, in which one said that the peak of Corona will come from 3 to 5 May, while in the second it was said that the peak of Corona will come on 7 May. But both these estimates have not been proved to be correct till now.
At present, a large number of scientists believe that the coming days are going to be very difficult for India. Situation in Bangalore, an IIS team has estimated on the basis of Mathematical Mall that 404,000 deaths could be caused by June 11 if the same trend continues in the country. Let us know that the death toll from Corona in India has crossed two lakhs.
