Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Indian Navy has released a total of 2500 vacancies for AA and SSR posts. Applications can be made for these posts till 25 October.
New Delhi: Indian Navy has invited e-applications for the post of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR). These applications have been sought for the batch going to start in February 2022. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for AA and SSR posts. The Indian Navy has fixed 25 October 2021 as the last date for application.
According to the notification issued by the Indian Navy, a short list of 10,000 candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class X (10+2). 10 thousand shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and health test. Candidates who will clear the written and medical test will be selected for the posts of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR).
Vacancy
Indian Navy has released a total of 2500 vacancies for both the posts. Out of which 500 vacancies have been released for Artificer Apprentice (AA) post and 2000 vacancies for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) posts.
Educational Qualifications
Artificer Apprentice (AA): The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with 60% marks in any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computer in addition to Mathematics and Physics.
Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): The applicant should have passed 10+2 examination with any one of the subjects in Science/Biology/Computer besides Mathematics and Physics.
Age Range
Candidate must have been born between 1st February 2002 and 31st January 2005.
Salary and Allowances
In the initial trial period, the sailors will get Rs 14,600 per month as stipend. After completion of the test, the defense will be placed under Level 3 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100).
In addition to this, Rs.5200 per month as Military Service Allowance and Rs.3600 per month during the X-Pay Test will be provided.
