Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has extended the facility of giving LPG connection through missed call to the customers.
Customers who are troubled by all kinds of paperwork are now offered to give connection only by missed call. In a statement by the company on Monday, IOC President SM Vaidya has started the facility of missed call to get new LPG connection anywhere in the country. The company has started the facility of missed call to get new connections of LPG cylinders, as well as they have also started the facility of getting Double Bottle Connection (DBC) at the doorstep of their customers. Under this, the delivery personnel will also provide the option of converting single bottle connection customers to DBC. IOC has extended its missed call facility to all its domestic customers to avail the new LPG connection. With this facility, potential customers across the country can give a missed call to 8454955555 to get a new connection. Vaidya further added, “For a company with the most comprehensive customer interface, it is our constant endeavor to make today’s experience better than yesterday’s. The facility of missed calls for refill bookings across the country and new connections in select markets was first rolled out in January 2021 itself. He said that this facility would especially benefit the elderly and people from rural areas. Indian Oil Corporation uses technology for the convenience of customers for booking and paying for LPG refills. The company also said that “customers can book and pay for refills via WhatsApp (7588888824), SMS/IVRS (7718955555) or even through Alexa on Amazon and Paytm channels.”
