Kenya gives visa free entry to Indians
Kenyan President William Ruto announced that foreign tourists will not require a visa to enter the country from January 2024. Iran also waived visa requirement for travelers from 33 countries, which includes India. President Ruto has highlighted how online platforms have expedited the visa process. This will take less time than before and will help in improving tourism and international relations.

Apart from this, Iran will eliminate the visa requirement for travelers from 33 other countries including India. The move aims to increase tourism and attract more tourists from around the world. Recently Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia had decided to provide visa-free entry to Indians. According to Henley & Partners’ new Passport Index for 2023, Indian passport holders can now travel to 57 countries without visa issues. The list includes countries with visa-free travel, visa-on-arrival service and electronic travel authorization (ETA).
