Today we will tell you about such a rule, which you may have never noticed. But one mistake on your part can cost you thousands of rupees. Actually how long before the train arrives at the railway station you can reach. There is a time limit for this also. If a passenger stops at the station ahead or behind the scheduled time, then the said passenger may have to pay a fine if caught.

Different rules for day and night

In the rules made by the Railways, different time limits have been set for both day and night. It is 2 hours for day and 6 hours for night. You will not have to pay any kind of fine for reaching during this time. The same rule applies to reaching the destination by train as well. After the arrival of the train, you can stay at the station for a maximum of 2 hours. But if it is night time then railway allows you to stay for 6 hours.

To take advantage of this rule, it will be necessary to show the train ticket on the demand of TTE. If you stay at the railway station beyond the stipulated time, then you will have to stay with a platform ticket. Your confirmed ticket will not work then. Actually, according to the scheduled time, any passenger can stay in the station only for 2 hours in the day and 6 hours in the night. Breaking this rule can result in a fine.
