Because of this a large number of trains have to be canceled every year. Keeping this in mind, Northern Railway has announced cancellation of 31 pairs of trains from December to February. An announcement has been made to reduce the frequency of many trains including Kanpur Shatabti and Gorakhpur Humsafar.

Already canceled for the convenience of passengers

Railway officials say that for the convenience of passengers traveling in advance, a list of trains canceled due to fog has been issued. With this, passengers can pay attention to other trains or any other option as per their convenience. According to the weather, a decision can be taken to run canceled trains or to extend their duration. He says that only passengers with confirmed tickets can travel in long distance trains due to corona infection.

There will be a reduction in the frequency of 21 pairs of trains

New Delhi-Kanpur Central Shatabdi running on all other days of the week except Sunday will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 23rd December to 26th February. A total of 21 pairs of trains have been reduced in frequency. At the same time, Anand Vihar Terminal-Gorakhpur Humsafar Express will run only on Saturdays and Sundays. At the same time, it has been decided to cancel 31 pairs of trains including Lichchavi Express, Hatia Superfast, Agra Intercity. The journey of some trains will end before the destination while the route of many has been changed.
