Malda: Railways has decided to cancel several long-distance trains for rail line work. Several trains have been rerouted. Indian Railways has issued such guidelines mainly for trains running through Malda division. Improvement of rail line will be done in several parts between Bhagalpur-Jamalpur railway station in Maldah division. Work will continue on June 11. Train movement will be stopped on that route for about 10 hours.
