Indian Railway: Good news for travelers! Railways announced to run new trains, when and on which route will it run? Learn here

The ‘Dakshin Darshan’ pilgrimage special train covering Nashik, Aurangabad, Parli, Kurnool, Rameswaram, Madurai and Kanyakumari will be from 14 February to 25 February. The ‘Namami Gange’ pilgrimage special train, which runs from 27 February to 8 March, will cover Varanasi, Gaya, Kolkata, Ganga Sagar and Puri.

Ministry of Railways is going to run four pilgrims special trains from 14 February. These trains are being operated from Rajkot in Gujarat. The havoc of Corona has undoubtedly reduced, but the railways have made it clear that all passengers must strictly follow the pre-determined protocol during the journey.




IRCTC Western Zone Group General Manager Rahul Himalayan said that the ‘Dakshin Darshan’ pilgrimage special train covering Nashik, Aurangabad, Parli, Kurnool, Rameswaram, Madurai and Kanyakumari will be from 14 February to 25 February. He said that the ‘Namami Gange’ pilgrimage special train, which runs from 27 February to 8 March, will cover Varanasi, Gaya, Kolkata, Ganga Sagar and Puri.

Bharat Darshan trains will start from March. Kumbh Haridwar Bharat Darshan train covering Mathura, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar and Vaishno Devi will run from March 6 to March 14. While the South India Yatra Bharat Darshan train will cover Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Guruvayur, Tirupati and Mysore from March 20 to 31. An official announcement has been made to run the much anticipated new express train 22539 Mau-Anand Vihar Terminal from Kovid Special from 14 February. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the new train from Mau Junction on 14 February through video conferencing. This train will run to Anand Vihar every Tuesday and Friday. After leaving Mau, it will halt at Jaunpur and Kanpur. Directly reach Delhi from there.

Himalayan informed that Tejas Express, the country’s first private train, will run again on February 14 on the New Delhi-Lucknow route. At the same time, from 14 February, Railways will also resume its corporate ‘Tejas Express’ train on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route. Demand for the resumption of Tejas Express was continuously increasing. For this reason, the Railway Ministry is preparing to run it again. Its new time table has been approved. Ticket booking for all seats will be done for this train four days a week Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
