Indian Railway New Rule: Now after two days you will be able to travel by train on one ticket, know how

Break Journey Ticket Rules: Most people take the facility of Indian Railways to travel long distances in India, but do you know that railways allow you to complete your journey in pieces. Let’s know how?

Indian Railway Break Journey Ticket Rules: Indian Railways is considered convenient and economical for long distance travel. Traveling in this is more comfortable than any normal vehicle. Keeping in view the convenience of its passengers, Railways has made many rules. You would hardly know about the rules of some of these big works.

It is often seen with many people that for some reason they miss their train. In such a situation, the railway gives you the facility that you can go to the next 2 stops and catch your train. After this you can complete your journey. If you want, you can complete your journey in pieces as well.

Many times people go out for sightseeing and for this the passengers get their tickets done in advance but then the plan changes, in this case you do not need to take a new ticket. You can continue your journey on the same ticket. However, during this time you may have to change your coach.

How will be the journey ahead

To continue your journey, you have to talk to TT i.e. ticket collector. He will prepare the next ticket and give it to you. If your train misses due to some reason, you can catch it up to 2 stations ahead, till then TT will not give your seat to anyone.

What is Route Break Journey Rule?

Very few people know about this unique rule. If you are on a journey longer than 500 km, you can take a break in between. If the journey is of 1000 kms, then you can take two breaks in it. When you travel in a train, you can take a break of 2 days leaving the date of boarding and disembarking. However, this rule does not apply to the country’s luxury trains like Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi and Rajdhani.
