New Delhi. If you are travelling by train and suddenly your health deteriorates during that time, then there is no need to worry. The doctor will come running to check you up. Central Railway has started a 24.7 service to help sick passengers in trains. Under this, a doctor will be available on call. Know the easy way to call a doctor.

Many times a passenger falls ill while travelling in a train. During this, he gets more worried thinking that what will happen if treatment is not available on time? Such passengers call their relatives and the relatives also get worried. Railways has started this facility to give relief to these passengers.

Call the doctor like this

To call a doctor in case of illness during the journey, passengers can call doctors in the train at the next station by contacting the RailMadad app or the train conductor/ travel ticket examiner or train manager.

This is how you will get the facility

A message is sent through Rail Madad or train conductor/TTE/train manager to the duty station manager of the next station, where a team of doctors and paramedics is ready. In this way, as soon as the train reaches the station, the doctor immediately goes to see the passenger. If the passenger faces more trouble, then the facility of getting admitted to the nearest hospital will also be provided.
