Now there is no need for such passengers who board the reserved bogie by taking waiting ticket, Railways is working on an app through which the passengers traveling in the reserved bogie will be able to complain about such passengers.
Indian Railway Rules: If you travel by train, one picture often turns out to be two or four. The picture is that some people are sitting in the reservation bogie with waiting tickets. However, in case of waiting e-ticket, it gets automatically canceled. But if the ticket is made from the counter then it does not get cancelled. Now no one can travel in reserved bogie by taking waiting ticket.
The specialty of this app will be that a passenger traveling in a reserved bogie will be able to complain about those with waiting tickets. Currently, trial is going on on this app. After successful trial, passengers will be able to upload it through Google and Apple Play app. According to the Railway Board, complaints are being received that people with waiting tickets also travel in reserved bogies and due to this, other passengers face problems. In some cases a complaint is filed but immediate solution is not found.
Now how will this app work
After the train departs from the station, the TTE will feed the data about reserved and unreserved seats through a hand held device.
The passenger will feed the train number and coach in the app. After this, the layout of the seat berth reservation of the bogie will be visible.
If more than the prescribed number of people are seen in the bogie, the passenger will be able to complain through the app.
As soon as the complaint is registered on the app. The complete information will automatically go to the centralized system and TTE will get an alert.
After receiving the complaint, TTE will remove unauthorized passengers from the reserve coach in the concerned coach. If any problem arises then he will take the help of RPF.
What will happen on a PNR waiting and confirmed ticket?
Now the question is that if some tickets remain confirmed and some tickets are waiting in the same PNR, then what will happen to those passengers. In such a situation, waiting passengers will be able to travel on the reserved seat of the same PNR. Railways says that it is our responsibility to make the passengers travel without any hassle. Our efforts are continuing to ensure that passengers can travel comfortably without any hassle and the app is a step in that direction.
