If you are traveling in a sleeper, you can travel with 40 kg of luggage on a single ticket. Similarly, in AC-2 and 3, you can travel with luggage up to 50 kg. If you are traveling in AC-1, you can travel with luggage up to 70 kg.
If the passenger is found to be traveling with excess baggage, he will have to pay a fine. If a passenger carries baggage exceeding the permitted weight for each class, he may be charged 1.5 times the baggage van fare. Now the passenger has to pay 1.5 times the fare to carry that luggage in the luggage van.
