Traveling on waiting tickets has been banned in Bhopal divisional area of Madhya Pradesh, under this a special campaign is also being run at railway stations.
6000 passengers caught daily
According to the information received, 6 thousand passengers have been caught traveling on waiting tickets every day. On being caught, Bhopal Railway Division is charging a fine of Rs 500 per passenger from such passengers. If the fine is not paid, the passengers may also have to face the air of jail. Amidst the increasing rush of passengers in the festive season, it is expected that such rules can be implemented in all railway zones of the country.
Passengers may face difficulties
Bhopal Railway Division is continuing this campaign in all its stations. If this is implemented in other railway zones then it may be difficult for the passengers. However, the purpose of such an initiative is being told to stop the spread of corona virus. But now there may be trouble for those people who will take tickets in waiting but will not be able to travel if the seat is not confirmed on time.
Sheet-blanket will be available again in the train
Significantly, in view of the corona virus, the railways had banned the sheets, blankets and pillows available in AC trains, but now this facility is going to start again soon. However, for this, passengers will have to pay the prescribed fee for blankets and sheets. If the passengers wish, after the completion of the journey, they can take the purchased kit along with them. Passengers will have to pay Rs 300 for blanket, Rs 70 for pillow and Rs 40 for bed sheet.
