Indian Railway News: Fog outbreak can soon be seen in North India including the national capital Delhi. In view of the forecasts of the Meteorological Department and the beginning of the fog season, Indian Railways has also started taking steps. Keeping the above circumstances in mind, Northern Railway has canceled about three dozen trains on Tuesday. Some of these trains have been canceled with immediate effect and some from December 1. These trains will remain canceled till 29th February.
Northern Railway chief spokesperson Deepak Kumar said that these trains have been canceled to keep operations normal during the fog. These include trains going from various stations of Delhi to Shamli, Ghaziabad, Kosi Kala, Farukh Nagar etc. Most of these trains are short distance. It is noteworthy that even before this, Northern Railway had canceled 62 trains keeping the fog in mind.
According to the report of news agency Univarta, many trains have also been canceled on the Bhopal-Itarsi railway section. According to the press release issued by Bhopal Division, to open the third line between Budni-Barkheda on Bhopal-Itarsi railway section, pre-non/non interlocking work is being done at Budni, Midghat, Chowka and Barkheda stations till 09 December. Due to which many trains plying on this section have been cancelled.
Some trains have been canceled or partially canceled from the originating station while some have been diverted. Train No. 19343 Indore-Seoni Panchveli Express has been canceled till 09 December while Train No. 19344 Chhindwara-Indore Panchveli Express has been canceled till 10 December. Is. Train No. 12923 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Nagpur Express will remain canceled on 05th December and Train No. 12924 Nagpur-Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Express will remain canceled on 06th December.
