Indian Railways prepares for the travel of people of every class and many steps are also taken to make the journey of the passengers smooth. Railways has not only expanded the network. But it has also worked to make the train coaches very luxurious and comfortable. Now there are many types of coaches in trains, which make their journey very fun. Railway coaches are divided into different classes. In which passengers book tickets according to their budget and facilities. Till now you must have seen SL, 1A, 2A, 3A, 2S and CC category coaches in any train.
But now a new coach is also being seen on which M1, M2 etc. are written. In the year 2021, some coaches were added to the train by the Railways with better facilities of AC-3 i.e. 3A category coach. This coach is known as M code. However, this facility has been provided in only a few trains so far.
Know what is M coach in the train
AC-3 economy coaches in railways are newer than the old AC-3 tier. They are equipped with modern facilities. The design of these coaches has also been improved compared to earlier. Let us tell you that in AC-3 economy coach, AC duck has been installed separately for the passenger of each seat. Along with this, bottle stand, reading light and charging arrangement has been made for every seat. This provides a lot of convenience to the passengers. AC-3 has 72 seats. Whereas 11 more seats have been added in AC-3 economy. Due to which the total number of seats in it becomes 83 seats.
How is AC-3 economy different from AC-3 tier?
AC-3 economy class is also a coach like AC-3 tier. It has all the facilities available in AC-3 tier along with some extra facilities. But the biggest difference in this is that the train which has AC-3 tier coaches. There are no AC-3 economy coaches in it. The name AC-3 economy has been given to the new coaches of AC-3.
