The Railways has earned extra especially from booking Tatkal tickets, while the Railways has earned this despite the normal services of trains being closed during the Kovid period. 119 crore has been earned from Premium Tatkal. Tatkal tickets are expensive
Passengers book tickets in Tatkal, Premium Tatkal and Dynamic fare when they have no other option. If the passengers have to go somewhere in an emergency and do not get a ticket or do not get a confirmed ticket, then the passengers take the help of Tatkal. Similarly, it happens in dynamic fair also. In dynamic fare, as the seat gets filled in the train, the fare for the rest of the seats becomes expensive. This premium is charged, because in an emergency, passengers have no option but to buy expensive tickets.
