Summer Special Trains: To reduce the overcrowding of railway passengers, it has been decided to extend the duration of the services of special trains. There has been no change in the timings and stoppages of these trains. Northern Railway has announced the extension of summer special trains. Northern Railway has issued a statement saying that Indian Railways has decided to continue 13 summer special trains till July 31.
According to media reports, for the convenience of the general public, the frequency of many summer special trains has been increased for the convenience of rail passengers and to reduce the extra crowd.
Northern Railway extended these trains
1 – Train number 09425/09426 running between Sabarmati and Haridwar will make additional trips from July 11, 2024 to July 31, 2024. This train will make a total of 6 trips from both sides.
2 – Train number 09195/09196 running between Vadodara and Mau will make four more trips on Saturdays and Sundays till July 31, 2024.
3 – Train number 09417/09418 connecting Ahmedabad and Danapur will make five trips on Mondays and Tuesdays till the end of July.
4 – Train No. 09557/09558 running between Bhavnagar Terminus and Delhi Cantt has been extended for four trips on Fridays and Saturdays till July 31, 2024.
5 – Train No. 09405/09406 running from Sabarmati to Patna has been extended for five trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays till the end of July.
6 – Train No. 09097/09098 running between Mumbai Bandra Terminus and Shridevi Katra will run four more trips on Sundays and Tuesdays till July 31, 2024.
7 – Train No. 09525/09526 connecting Hapa and Naharlagun (Itanagar) has been extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Saturdays till the end of July.
8 – Train number 09183/09184 running from Mumbai Central to Banaras has been extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Fridays till July 31, 2024.
9 – Train number 09309/09310 running between Indore and Hazrat Nizamuddin will make eight additional trips on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays and Saturdays till the end of July.
10 – Train number 09075/09076 running between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam has been extended for five trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays till July 31, 2024.
11 – Train number 09189/09190 connecting Mumbai Central and Katihar will make four more trips on Saturdays and Tuesdays till the end of July.
12 – Train number 09523/09524 running from Okha to Delhi Sarai Rohilla will be extended for five trips on Tuesdays and Wednesdays till July 31, 2024.
13 – Train number 04137/04138 running between Gwalior and Barauni will make eight trips on Sundays, Wednesdays, Mondays and Thursdays from July 7, 2024 to August 1, 2024.
