Indian Railways: Railway TTEs will soon be able to collect fines in running trains with the help of online QR code.
Indian Railways: Indian Railways leaves no stone unturned in making itself advanced with time. Be it running the premium Vande Bharat train with super advanced technology or providing hi-tech service to the passengers inside the station and the train. This effort of Railways is also visible in PA Modi’s Digital India Mission. Railways has now made such arrangements through which TTEs inside trains can now collect fines online. For this, now the QR code will be updated in the hand held terminal (HHT Machine) already present with TTE.
How will digital recovery start?
In this regard, Senior DCM of Jodhpur Division, Vikas Kheda said that guidelines have been received regarding online payment to be made by TTE on trains and railway stations as per railway rules. Work has been started to implement it.
He said that about 300 TTEs working in the entire Jodhpur division have been provided HHT machines to bring transparency and make it easier to check tickets. Due to which the work of ticket checking in trains is now being done through this.
Online payment will be done through QR code
Kheda said that the work of TTE has become easier by taking payment from HHT machine. By collecting fines online this system will become paperless. The fine collected from passengers will be directly transacted in railway booking and its complete record will also be there in TTE’s HHT machine.
