Indian Railways: Good news for the passengers of Bihar, Railways announced to run special trains on Chhath Puja; See list here

Indian Railways has given relief news for the passengers traveling from Delhi to Bihar on Chhath Puja. In view of the increasing number of passengers on the festival, Railways has announced to run special trains. In this regard, a decision has been taken to run Chhath Puja special train between Patna, Gaya and Jaynagar. See the complete list here…

Due to increase in the number of passengers during festival days, there is difficulty in getting confirmed tickets in trains. For the convenience of passengers, Railways is announcing to run festival special trains.

In this connection, it has been decided to run Chhath Puja special train between Patna, Gaya and Jaynagar. Trains will run from Anand Vihar Terminal for all three cities. This will facilitate the people who went to Bihar for Chhath Puja to return back to Delhi.

Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal (03255/03256) –

The superfast special train will depart from Patna at 10.20 pm every Thursday and Sunday from November 23 to December 10. In the return direction, it will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.30 pm every Friday and Monday from November 24 to December 11.

Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal (02391/02392)-

The superfast special train will depart from Patna at 10.20 pm every Saturday from November 25 to December 9. In the return direction, it will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.30 pm every Sunday from 26th November to 10th December.

Both Patna special trains consisting of air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches will stop at Danapur, Arrah, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj and Kanpur Central stations en route.

Gaya-Anand Vihar Terminal (03635/03636)

The special superfast train will run from Gaya at 02.15 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from November 20 to December 8. In the return direction, it will run from Anand Vihar Terminal at 7 am every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from November 21 to December 9.

This special train consisting of air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches will stop at Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri on Son, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj and Kanpur Central stations.

Jaynagar-Anand Vihar Terminal (05557/05558)-

The special train will run from Jaynagar at 6 am every Tuesday from November 21 to December 5. In the return direction, it will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 7.30 am every Wednesday from November 22 to December 6.

This special train consisting of air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches will stop at Madhubani, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chapra, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations en route.
