Indian Railways: In view of the festivals, festival special trains are being operated continuously by the railways for the people going home. For the convenience of the passengers, Northern Railway has announced to operate festival special trains between New Delhi-Gaya, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bandra Terminus, Yesvantpur-Chandigarh and Kota-Danapur. All these trains will be fully reserved category.

Northern Railway has announced to operate festival special trains between New Delhi-Gaya, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bandra Terminus, Yesvantpur-Chandigarh and Kota-Danapur for the convenience of passengers. All these trains will be fully reserved category.
According to Deepak Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, the following special trains will be operated as per the rules:-
01678/01677 New Delhi – Gaya – New Delhi 2 Days
Weekly Festival Special 01678 New Delhi – Gaya 2 Weekly Festival Special Train From 25th October to 19th November every Monday and Friday every Monday and Friday at 0810 AM New Delhi Will reach Gaya at 00.30. In the return direction, 01677 Gaya – New Delhi 2 days a week festival special train will depart every Tuesday and Saturday at 07.00 hrs to reach New Delhi at 11.35 hrs on the same day from 26 October to 20 November. Enroute, this special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj Jn., Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Bhabua Road, Sasaram and Dehri-on-Sone stations in both the directions.
09189/09190 Bandra Terminus-Hazrat Nizamuddin A.C. Super Fast Bi-Weekly Festival Special
09189 Bandra Terminus-Hazrat Nizamuddin A.C. Super Fast Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will leave Bandra Terminus at 05.30 PM on every Sunday and Wednesday from 27 October to 28 November and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.15 AM the next day. In return direction 09190 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Bandra Terminus AC. Super Fast Bi-Weekly Festival Special train will depart at 04.30 PM on every Monday and Thursday and arrive Bandra Terminus at 09.15 AM the next day from 28th October to 29th November. On the way, this special train will run between Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, and Mathura Jn. Stations will stop in both the directions.
06239/06240 Yesvantpur-Chandigarh-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Superfast Special
06239 Yesvantpur-Chandigarh Bi-Weekly Superfast Special train will reach Yesvantpur at 03:55 PM on every Wednesday and Saturday from 03rd November till further notice at 03:55 PM on the third day of the train. In the return direction, 06240 Chandigarh – Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Superfast Special train will depart Chandigarh at 03.35 a.m. on every Tuesday and Saturday from 06 November till further notice and arrive Yesvantpur at 06.05 a.m. on the third day.
Enroute this special train will stop at Tumkur, Ariskere, Davangere, Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Miraj, Pune Jn., Manmad Jn., Bhusaval, Bhopal, Jhansi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Panipat and Ambala Cantonment stations in both the directions.
09817/09818 Kota Jn-Danapur-Kota Jn. Festival Special
09817 Kota Jn.- Danapur Special will depart Kota at 01.40 hrs on 2nd, 5th & 11th November and arrive Danapur at 03.30 hrs the next day. In the return direction, 09818 Danapur-Kota Festival Special will leave Danapur at 05.40 pm on 03rd, 06th & 12th November and will reach Kota at 07.30 pm the next day.
Enroute this special train will stop at Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Bhind, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Janghai, Varanasi, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Buxar and Ara stations in both the directions.
