Summer Special Train: North East Frontier Railway will run few more special trains to reduce overcrowding of passengers. As a result, the benefits of the tourists will increase North East Frontier Railway has decided to run a few more one-way special trains to facilitate tourism and reduce overcrowding during summer season. These special trains will run today for one trip on May 31 and June 1, 2023.

05951 no. (Dibrugarh-Jammu Tawai) Special train will depart from Dibrugarh at 16.30 hrs on 31st May, 2023 (Wednesday). This special train runs from North Lakhimpur, Rangapara North, Rangia, New Bangaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Chapra, Lucknow, Moradabad, Ludhiana Jn. Reach Jammu-Tawai at 21.10 hrs on 02 June 2023 (Friday) via railway station.

The special train will have a total of 21 rooms with AC two-tier, sleeper class and second seating coaches. 05499 no. (Alipurduar Jn.-Puri) Special train will leave Alipurduar Jn. will depart from This special train runs from Binnaguri, New Jalpaiguri, Rampurhat, Kharagpur, Cuttack, Khurda Road Junction. It will reach Puri next day at 11.00 hours via the station.

The special train will have a total of 16 rooms including AC three tier, sleeper class and second seating coaches. Waiting list passengers of other trains plying on this route can avail this facility. Details of stoppages and timetables of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also indexed in various newspapers and social media platforms of North East Frontier Railway. According to railway sources, the number of special trains will be increased due to the increase in the number of passengers in the trains running in Northeast India.
